Muay Thai History

Modern Muay Thai has now evolved into a recognised international combat sport and has recently been accepted as an Olympic recognised sport. Muay Thai can be seen in the stadiums of Thailand and on the international promotions which have hugely populated the sport. Most MMA fighters consider Muay Thai as essential component of their sport.

Rules & Regulations

Often misunderstood outside of Thailand, Muay Thai rules and scoring are quite unique amongst fighting sports. The emphasis is on the effect a technique has on an opponent rather than the accuracy and frequency of strikes.
