Raamba Somdet M16 Gym - Pattaya City

Rambaa Somdet M16 Gym in Pattaya is a training facility for Muay Thai enthusiasts, fighters, and athletes. Located in the bustling city of Pattaya, Thailand, the gym offers a unique experience for those looking to train in various disciplines, including Muay Thai, MMA, and boxing.

Founded by former Muay Thai champion, Rambaa Somdet, the gym boasts state-of-the-art training equipment, a team of highly experienced coaches, and a welcoming community of fighters and enthusiasts from all around the world.

Ramba Somdet is an extrovert character remembered for his antics in the ring. He would do crazy dances in the ring and even kiss the ref when he won. At the time his behaviour was considered scandalous but it was very entertaining.

With a reputation for producing top-tier fighters, Rambaa Somdet M16 Gym has become a sought-after destination for Muay Thai enthusiasts and professionals alike. Whether you're looking to improve your skills, get in shape, or compete at the highest level, this gym offers a unique and rewarding training experience.

Many of my friends have trained at Rambaa Somdets gym and they all say it was a fantastic experience. Rambaa fought in MMA for a short career but I still think his classic Muay Thai is his selling point. I believe he has fighter dorm accommodation which is cheaper than local guest houses. Training fees are substantially lower than the neighbouring gyms and this does not reflect a difference in training quality at all.

I am personally a big fan of Ramba Somdet, I was living in a gym in Chiang Mai when he burst onto the scene and i was inspired by the way he fought. I remember his antics divided the Muay Thai world with some conservatives and purists wanting him banned. What a legend I will definatly go to Pattya and train with him one day.

Best For: All standards who want to train classical Muay Thai in Pattaya at a bargain price.

Prices: No current prices are posted but a few years ago he was only charging 300 Baht a session and 3000 Baht a month.
